The East Jakarta Health Sub-agency, held an event commemorating World Immunization Week at the Susukan Ceria RPTRA, Susukan, Ciracas, Wednesday (5/8).

The event with the theme "It's Never Too Late for Immunization. Let's Get Immunized Now", was opened by East Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Herwin Meifendy.
According to him, his party wanted to urge all levels of society to immediately immunize their toddlers, for the toddler's health and immunity.

He went on to day that his party held various activities, starting from health services for infectious and non-communicable diseases, immunizations for toddlers aged 0-5 years.
Then there were nutritional consultations, monitoring children's growth and development, as well as a talk show about immunization with the speaker, General Chair of the Indonesian Pediatrician Association (IDAI) Piprim Basarah Yanuarso.
Susukan Urban Village Head, Andri Priwitama Maila added that from morning to midday, there were more than 50 toddlers aged 0-5 years who enjoyed immunization services in this activity.
Likewise, the activity of examining infectious and non-communicable diseases was attended by 50 participants. While, the talk show about immunization was attended by 100 residents of Susukan Urban Village.
"This immunization is very important, for the sake of realizing the next generation of Indonesia Emas 2045 (Golden Indonesia)," he stated.
